for my own disscussion questions i wrote
"I think that Buy Mitsui will be the hero in the end. Buy was a great guy from the begining. the only down fall he had was when he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. right after saving himself from being fired from his job he goes to do a good thing as a celebration that turned out to go alll wrong and now he blames himself for the death of a young girl he tryed to help out. then after he returns to work he is burnt out of ambition and doesnt want to do anything at all. not even eat and drink. he decides to commit suicide because he cannot take the harsh memory and uninterestness in life anymore. but he cant figure out how to use a gun so he calls jennifer government who would obviously kno how to use a gun. when she comes over she takes his gun from him, and what happens i never expected to happen. all of a sudden he is a different person, he loves life and he loves jennifer. so he relieved himself from his deppression by putting his passion into jennifer and her being around. when jennifer leaves to london, he is not 'forced' but asked to take care of jennifers daughter Kate and he ends up falling in love wiht her too. he acts so much like a father figure to her that she invites him to parent day at the school if her mother cannot make it. buy has truely transformed into a new person."
this pretty much describes my heros journey opinion in brief.
After finishing the last 20 pages im adding to my brief opinion above^^
i feel like buy has transformed into a completely different person with having jennifer and kate in his life, and to have reason to live. i love how far he went to save a little girl who wasnt even his kid, because he cared so much for her. it truely shows throughout the story how he goes through his own heros journey.. from loosing his job, to saving his job, to loosing hope, to finding hope, to panic, to relief and finally, to reward and renewal of reason of life. he is the hero in the end of jennifers government.
